The War is on Telecare: Don’t Talk Shit!!!

The time has come to call it like it is. Telecare, the so-called "care" provider, is failing those who need help the most. The cracks in the system are not just cracks anymore; they’re gaping chasms swallowing up the mentally ill, the homeless, and the desperate. And I’m not about to stay quiet any longer.

Telecare: The Real Villain in the Mental Health Crisis

Let's not sugarcoat it. Telecare’s approach is more like a battlefield than a place of healing. They’ve adopted a tough love strategy that’s more about toughness and less about love. It's a twisted game of survival, where only those who can play by their rules—no matter how messed up they are—get a chance at staying housed or receiving treatment.

Telecare is supposed to be a lifeline, but what happens when that lifeline is a noose? People are being pushed out of housing, denied the care they desperately need, and left to fend for themselves on the streets. How many more have to die before someone takes notice?

Tough Love or Just Plain Cruelty?

Let’s get one thing straight: tough love is a bullshit concept when it comes to mental health. You don’t push people with schizophrenia, addiction, and trauma out onto the streets and call it “treatment.” You don’t strip away their dignity and then blame them for not being able to get back up. Telecare’s version of tough love is nothing more than a systematic way to wash their hands of responsibility.

Take my former housemate, Brian, for instance. He was a good guy, trying to fight his demons. But Telecare’s refusal to give him a safe place to stay led to his overdose on the streets. They call it tough love; I call it manslaughter.

Enough with the Victim Blaming!

Telecare’s tactics don’t stop at just kicking people out; they’re also masters of victim-blaming. By associating with 12-step programs, they’ve embraced a philosophy that blames the victim for their own abuse. Imagine telling a domestic violence survivor that it’s their fault they were beaten, or a rape survivor that they need to apologize to their rapist. That’s the kind of twisted logic Telecare is peddling.

Their meetings and groups are filled with rhetoric that demands people apologize for the very abuse and neglect they’ve suffered. It's a disgusting display of power and control, masquerading as therapy.

The War is On

Telecare, if you think you can keep getting away with this, you’re dead wrong. The war is on, and we’re not backing down. Your tough love, your victim-blaming, your cruel indifference—it’s all being exposed for the world to see. Don’t talk shit about helping people when all you’re doing is kicking them when they’re down.

To those who’ve been hurt, discarded, and silenced by Telecare, know this: you’re not alone. Your stories, your pain, and your truth will be heard. We’re fighting back, and we won’t stop until the system changes. This is just the beginning.

Telecare, get ready. The war is on. Don’t talk shit unless you’re ready to face the consequences.
