6. Because you guys got it all wrong! Christmas isn’t about money and material items, nor is it about some hokey religious myth. It’s about family, friends, and love, seeing the people you don’t always see but sometimes care about the most. Giving them something, maybe something simple to show that you care and appreciate them. That all your work days, and time at home, mean something, because it is often them we are thinking about and not ourselves. We don’t always say that, but that’s how we feel, and we share that gift on Christmas day. That is the real meaning of Christmas as an American tradition. That is the Christmas I remember!
