I’m being considered for several positions on the Disney job board. With my education, my website, and my portfolio—as well as a strong craft resume showcasing years of creative dedication—it’s only a matter of time until I hear from them. I’ve put in the work. Now it’s about patience, perseverance, and letting the magic unfold.
All of these opportunities are in Los Angeles, and to be honest, I love LA. It’s the birth and death of me. A place where I’ve lost myself and found myself again. The culture, the chaos, the characters—it’s a city of extremes. It’s wild, it’s relentless, and it’s alive. Like New York, LA is a haven for ambition and dreams. It’s where people come to make something of themselves, and I’ve always believed I was one of them.
The skyscrapers still fascinate me. They rise up like modern-day pyramids, monuments to possibility. They don’t just touch the sky—they dare it. And they stir something inside me. That same spark that’s kept me creating even in my darkest days.
I remember those days well—playing guitar and selling my art on Venice Beach, my feet in the sand, the breeze in my hair, watching the sun melt into the Pacific after a long day's hustle. I was free, I was hungry, and I was determined. That same fire burns in me now, only this time with more focus, more direction.
As General Douglas MacArthur said, I shall return. But this time, I’m not returning with a guitar and a sketchpad—I’m returning with a job. A purpose. A place in the world I’ve always wanted.
