Well folks, it’s official — I just submitted my very first application to Disney Imagineering! The position? Executive Assistant, Disney Live Entertainment (Project Hire/Internal Assignment). Sure, it might be a trial run, but every journey to a dream starts with that first brave step — and today, I took it.
Thanks to Bonkers (that’s my friendly AI sidekick), I was able to put together a sharp, professional resume, an inspired cover letter, and a PDF portfolio packed with my best illustrations. Every piece in that portfolio is a reflection of not only my skill but my soul — the highs, the lows, and everything in between.
Let me be real: manic-depression hasn’t stopped me. Cancer scare? I may just be in the clear. Homelessness? No more. I’ve been through the fire, and now I rise — like a punk rock phoenix with a paintbrush.
The dream is alive and well. My website’s looking solid, my confidence is higher than Space Mountain, and my spirit? Absolutely unbreakable. Whether I get this job or not, today marks a turning point. Because I’m no longer waiting for life to happen — I’m making it happen.
